Playwright development activities have included:

  • The workshop and staged reading of Martin Edward’s story of three generation of Londoner’s of Caribbean heritage The Glory Road
  • Workshop and presentation of Brazilian playwright Rogerio Correa’s mediation on the role of art to affect change and the LGBTQ+ atrocities in Chechnya For Love
  • The RWR presentation of a mother and a spouse grapple with freezing the sperm of a recently deceased love one in Fran Bushe’s Keep him Here.

Active Dramaturgy:
Working with 503’s and individual playwrights throughout 2017 has allowed the exciting opportunity to develop my Active Dramaturgy practice in an attempt to bridge the gap between literary and theatrical creation by bringing the tools of Active Analysis to the playwright.
