Jack had the pleasure of supporting the Brazil Diversity team as dramaturge for Rogerio Correa’s new play “Homophobia”.
In association with London’s Theatre503, Brazil Diversity presented eight short plays in an evening revealing a Brazil beyond samba and football. Bringing together Brazilian and non-Brazilian artists (cis, trans, LGBT+ and friends), committed to fighting for LGBT+ rights around the world.
The project is inspired by the show Rio Diversidade, that has been performed on Brazilian stages since 2015 and has been nominated for some of the most important theatre awards in the country.
Rogerio’s anthology “Sex Between Men in the 21st Century” including Homophobia and several other pieces dramaturged by Jack, received the Vencedores do Press Award UK 2018 and was selected for the for Brazil’s prestigious PROJETO SELEÇÃO BRASIL EM CENA.
